Summary/Objective:

Maxam Tire, a subsidiary of the Sailun Group, is a global manufacturer and distributor of specialty off-the-road tires. The Solid OTR & National Account Sales Manager is responsible for supporting our business strategy centered around our core mission of being a “Business Solutions Provider” and our vision of “Ensuring the Quality of the Customer Experience” in the Specialty Tire market segment. The key focus of this position will be to implement all aspects of business unit strategy for MTNA in the area of Solid OTR & National Account Sales Management

Job Description:

The goals of Maxam Tire will be to drive the Solid OTR & National Account business regionally forward by meeting or exceeding plans by working directly with Maxam Regional Sales Managers, Engineering, Supply Chain, and the Sailun Manufacturing Factory Marketing department.

Essential Functions:
  • Drive the Solid OTR & National Account business to meet or exceed business plans.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of Solid OTR & National Account business in your assigned geography and report on trends and major events impacting business performance to senior management.
  • Solicit and manage the SOLID OTR & NATIONAL ACCOUNT business in assigned geography and/or assigned account base.
  • Utilize existing product lines and future product developments to identify and secure new business opportunities with the SOLID OTR & NATIONAL ACCOUNT customer base.
  • Identify new market trends and market changes based on the SOLID OTR & NATIONAL ACCOUNT future product development plans.
  • Provide interface with Senior Managers and organization on current and expected SOLID OTR & NATIONAL ACCOUNT Customers’ business plans.
  • Work directly with SOLID OTR & NATIONAL ACCOUNT Customers to pursue additional global positioning of Maxam products.
  • Work collaboratively with Regional Sales Managers within your assigned geography.
  • Develop and recommend product positioning and pricing strategy for Global SOLID OTR & NATIONAL ACCOUNT Customer-placed products to produce the highest long-term market share.
  • Evaluate market research, competitor’s product and adjust business strategies to meet changing market conditions.
  • Required collaboration and coordination of engineering and product development to exceed SOLID OTR & NATIONAL ACCOUNT Customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal global departments to design and develop new services for enhancing business growth.
  • Coordination of capital expenditure projections based on SOLID OTR & NATIONAL ACCOUNT Customer volumes and/or new product developments.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and projects sales performance against programs to determine strategy effectiveness.
  • Ensures effective control of results and takes corrective action to guarantee the achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Manages and resolves all issues in the cross-functional process of delivery to SOLID OTR & NATIONAL ACCOUNT customers.
  • Reviews and analyzes performances against SOLID OTR & NATIONAL ACCOUNT business plans by customers in the format of Daily/Monthly Sales Reports.
  • Represent Maxam at Trade Shows, Trade Association Meetings, and SOLID OTR & NATIONAL ACCOUNT Segment sponsored events to promote brand equity and product availability.

Required Education & Experience:
  • Undergraduate 4-year degree desired.
